Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian/Cyclist Detection and Junction Turning (FCA-JT): When a vehicle or pedestrian is detected in your path, the system alerts you and may even brake automatically if you don't begin stopping in time. In addition, the FCA system can also apply the brakes when turning left at an intersection when risk of a collision with an oncoming vehicle is detected.
Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go: While traveling at a speed set by you, it uses radar to help maintain a safe distance from the car ahead. When the system slows the vehicle to a stop, it will reactivate if the vehicle in front moves within 3 seconds.
Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Curve Control: Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go and Curve Control is a system of safety features. While traveling at a speed set by you, the Stop & Go feature uses a radar to help maintain a safe distance from the car ahead. After the system slows the vehicle to a stop, it will reactivate if the vehicle in front moves within 3 seconds. Navigation-based cruise control feature sets the cruising speed at the maximum speed limit of the road on which the car is driving based on the local speed limit. Lastly, the Curve Control feature slightly reduces the cruising speed in expectation of a curved road.
 Driver Attention Warning (DAW): To help prevent potential accidents, this system monitors your driving patterns to detect drowsy or inattentive driving. Once detected, it alerts you with a sound cue coupled with a warning message on the instrument panel.
Lane Keeping Assist (LKA): This feature can warn you through audio and visual cues if it detects your vehicle drifting out of its driving lane without signaling. If necessary, it may gently apply corrective steering assistance to help keep you inside the lane.
Highway Driving Assist (HDA): Your "co-pilot" for highway driving. When actively engaged with Smart Cruise Control and Lane Following Assist, this available smart convenience helps keep you centered in your lane and traveling at a safe distance behind the car ahead. Not only that, it can also help keep you driving at the right speeds, setting your pace based on GPS and highway data.
Lane Following Assist (LFA): Using the front-view camera to detect lane markers on the road, this feature assists the driver's steering to help keep the vehicle centered inside the lane.
 Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM): Available Blind-Spot View Monitor shows a video feed of your blind spots on TUCSON's available 10.25-inch display, so the most important information stays prominently in view.
Surround View Monitor (SVM): The more aware you are of what's around you, the better prepared you are on the road. The available Surround View Monitor shows camera views from the front, sides and rear of your TUCSON, right on your dash.
Safe Exit Warning (SEW): This available innovation warns the driver when the vehicle is parked and its radar detects a vehicle approaching from behind.
Rear Occupant Alert (ROA): As the engine is turned off, a visual warning in the instrument cluster reminds you to check the rear seats before exiting.
Ultrasonic Rear Occupant Alert ( Ultrasonic ROA): With this available feature, as the engine is turned off, a visual warning in the instrument cluster reminds you to check the rear seats before exiting. Additionally, overhead ultrasonic sensors monitor the backseat area to minimize the risk of a child or pet accidentally being left inside after the vehicle is parked and locked. If sensors detect movement, the horn may honk, lights may flash and you may be sent a smartphone alert through Bluelink.
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA): If your Hyundai detects a vehicle in your blind spot while your turning signal is on, this available feature may automatically apply the left or right front brake to minimize the potential for collision.
High Beam Assist (HBA): Constantly turning your high beams off and on can be a hassle, which is why this thoughtful feature automatically does it for you. It can detect oncoming vehicles and also when they're no longer there, toggling between high and low beams accordingly.
 Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA): When you're going in reverse, this available feature lets you know if its sensors detect a vehicle approaching from the left or right. It may even apply the brakes automatically if needed.
Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA): This available feature enables your Hyundai to park itself, even when you're not inside. It can back into and pull out of a parking space with a push of your Smart Key button.
Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist-Reverse (PCA-R): When you're reversing out of a parking spot, this available feature gives you an audio warning if its sensors detect a potential collision. It can even lightly apply brakes if necessary.
